We went on a day trip to San Diego to tour the US Navy (USN) Los Angeles class Attack Submarine USS HAMPTON (SSN 767). It took a month or so to get a tour date, but it was well worth it. The crew were great and a few of them were carrying their Eagle Scout cards and were very good with the boys.

Before the tour we had lunch and toured the near by Cabrillo National Monument and Old Point Loma Lighthouse.
